Penis Nose's website : http://bigbevs.bigmandan.com/ #14 - The Podcast Expo, Denied. Do to a weather related flight cancellation I was unable to attend the Expo. They weren't able to get me there until late Friday, at which point I decided it wouldn't be worth going cross country for just 24 hours. We also discus our video podcast and the process it took to get it online. In our beer corner we review our visit with Fred Matt and Jim Coor from FX Matt Brewing, the makers of the delicious Saranac beer. We give a shout out to Porcuponics, who have put out 2 great videos since our last show. Also, Gigi, who I have been helping the past month is finally up and podcasting like a pro. Give her show some support and listen in. Goto www.erichour.com for show links. The first ever (that I know of) video/ audio podcast. And what a learning experience it was. The video came out a bit choppy. The audio is edited and contains more content than the unedited video. For Example: music, sound effects, promos.... Sideshow Hermie does make an appearance, although brief. I am working on getting the video into a mac/ ipod compatible file. Hopefully in a day or two. But I didn't want to keep anyone waiting any longer so I'll publish the windows video and audio now. So I don't ramble too long, tune in to hear what we say, no summary this week.
The Halloween Episode. I start off on an unintentional rant with what's wrong with Halloween. I then move into a haunting local legend from my area.! We get a quick update from Sideshow Hermie and his quest to save our Porcuponics friends Tom and Melissa. We finally test a new skill, the Phone Interview. We visited 7 different vineyards over the course of the day, sampling many wines at each. Of course some of the usual stuff is in here too. I discuss show feedback and have a bonus as we have 2 podcast picks of the week. SideShow Hermie asked to pick one so I let him and I made my pick as well. Happy Fall from SideShow Hermie! Wow, what a response from last show. Thanks to everybody for listening and sending feedback. We start out with a complaint from our show mascot Sideshow Hermie, moving on to the fire it up song and our podcast pick of the week, SoccergirlIncorporated. Next is some Lord of the Rings trivia with my future guest host Don. Then, due to popular request we go back to the bar and talk about some beer. This week I play some audio I got from the recent Real Ale Fest at Clark's Ale House (not official website but a review). Stay tuned for next time when we look into some local brewing history.
